distortions and mysteries by AlexanderJansson distortions and mysteries by AlexanderJansson
This is a new design concept for my website.

As always I have no idea what "less is more" means... ;)

edit: and here´s what it looks like: [link]

You are a genius, for coming up with such a concept. This design is absolutely mind blowing. never before have I seen something like this and it is such a breath of intoxicating fresh air. I go in a frenzy just by looking at it and the fact that it is exquisitely coded as a functional website wiped a broad smile across my face. You are a phenomenal conceptualizer who isn't afraid to push the boundaries when it comes designing something completely miraculous.

I am in awe at your level of your enlightenment, regarding this heavenly design. It is so small and neat, like a cozy little fantasy hideaway, but yet it is so large in innovativeness and beauty. I could write on an on about this design, because I find it to be endlessly inspiring. Quite honestly this is my type of design. We don't have to subscribe to the blank uncreativity that people force on us when it comes to website designing. We need to break free from that mentality and challenge ourselves and that popular quote "less is more" that many lazy designers throw about - no offense to anyone. Yes simplicity does have its place, but I am afraid that the majority have been enslaved by it and to the detriment of their creative spirit. This design is gorgeous, user friendly and nicely coded. This marvelous design has encouraged me to press onwards to the light, learning all there is to know in order to create memorable tokens of heaven such as this.

WONDERFULLY DONE! WONDERFULLY DONE INDEED!!

If you know flash you could make this really nice and interactive. But with flash you need to be aware, iPhone, iPad and Android have stopped supporting it and Adobe are stopping production on it in 2014. But for a portfolio site it could be the way.

If you wanted it "universally computer friendly" use the <canvas> tag in HTML5 and draw this in JavaScript. That would be insane. You'd probably win some design awards for your site alone before even getting into content. If I knew how to draw with JavaScript and the canvas I'd totally take this on..but alas I don't yet.

I've sent you a note about a few things you may need to address about your code as it could crash the site more frequently the way it is, or if you ever want to add onto it.

I love your work. It's vibrant and dark at the same time. This is my favorite. It reminds me of a pop-up book. You have a wonderful imagination. Thank you for sharing this, it made me happy at the end of a long trying day. Best wishes to all of your endeavors.
